My ABC Bible Verses

We so enjoyed reading through the devotions in My ABC Bible Verses, by Susan Hunt– as a part of Kayla’s preschool this past year (& as a part of our “Special Time”! :) It was amazing to me how many times the short & sweet devotions spoke to MY heart, & I was blessed to memorize these verses right along with my girls!

ABC Bible Verses

To add a little extra fine-motor skills practice for my preschooler, I made up some worksheets that went along with each verse. Each week, Kayla would trace the letter we were focusing on, cut on the lines, & tape the Bible verse together in order. She would then usually measure it to herself to see how long the verse was that week, & then it was proudly displayed on our wall!

Here are the A-Z Bible Verse Worksheets- feel free to download and print them (just click on the “pictures”/links below! They are certainly not “professional”, but we had fun with them… the reason I chose to use various fonts- was to help in her recognition of letters & words written in a variety of ways (& every once in a while some lowercase letters are thrown in too)! ;)

Verses A, B, C & D…

Verses E, F, G & H…

Hanging all of these Bible verses on our wall has been a wonderful way to keep hiding God’s Word in the little (& big) hearts in our family! :)

***When you click on the picture or link, it will take you to a pdf version of the A-Z Bible verses worksheets. From there, download and/or print your own copy. (If you’re having trouble, you can try a few things… first download it to your computer, and print it from there… try a different browser… and/or {most importantly} make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Reader.) If you’re still having trouble, please email me at ourfamilyforhisglory at gmail dot com, and I’d be happy to send you the pdf versions via email.)

***Also, when viewing the worksheets, for some reason at times some of the letters look a bit mixed up (ex.- “I” & “M” are missing some dots), but when opening & printing them, the letters should turn out “normal”! :)

  1. These are awesome! And, as I have officially decided what I am doing with Princess M next year and many of these verses are the ones used, then I don’t have to make up some myself. So thanks a heap! Blessings.

  17. I would LOVE and appreicate a copy of the A-Z bible verses from your blog. I am having trouble downloading them. I copy and pasted your e-mail address and it isn’t working for me either so I figured I would try to contact you through the comment section. This would definitely compliment the kindergarten activities that we are doing from Carisa’s 1+1+1=1 blog. These look awesome!

Could you pleae email them to me, or find another way to make the .pdf file available? the google docs link only leads to error messages!! :(

    • Thanks for letting me know, Jennifer!! I’ve just switched to WordPress and am in the process of getting the pdf files switched to this site as well… I think that will make things much easier! I’m hoping to have them ready later today. :) I’ll make sure to let you know when they are ready.
Thanks for your patience and kindness!

  27. Thanks so much for these worksheets! We are working through the ABC Bible Verses book and using them along the way. My daughter’s wall is covered in verses. We are now on J and the scripture is not printing. I noticed it on the pdf, but thought it may work when I printed it. Thanks again for making it available. Blessings to you!

    • Hi Laura! I’ll check into the J scripture! Sorry, I’ve had some issues- which is why I’ve tried to switch everything to this new site. Would it be helpful if I emailed the J verse to you?? Please let me know! I’m so glad you’ve been able to use the worksheets! :) I can just picture your little girl’s walls covered! Jessica

      • Sure! You can email me – sweaver93(at)msn(dot)com. You are very kind. I was going to make my own, but it would definitely not be as cute as yours!

  28. These verses are great! We’re using The Big Picture Storybook Bible, but I’ll be doing a letter each week with my pre-schooler and kindergartener and I like to do a corresponding verse. This will be perfect! I also can’t wait to share a link to your blog on my blog. I’m sure my homeschooling friends would like these, too! : ) Btw…I got a link to this from Pinterest : ).

    • Hi Stacey! I’m so glad that these will be helpful to you! Thanks for your wonderful encouragement! I look forward to getting to know you more! Jessica

  29. Thank you so much for this wonderful project! :)

  30. I just LOVE the worksheets you made! I’m working on doing PreK with my 4 1/2 and 3 year old boys and these go perfect with what we’re doing! Thank you!

I do have a question though….I printed them all off but the J verse didn’t work right. It has a big black streak through it. Would you be willing to email me only the J page??

    Thanks so much!

    • Hi Laura! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I just sent you an email, and am hoping something will work for you! :) Thanks for being patient as we’ve been out of town. Jessica

Just found these! We have used the verses, although we didn’t have the book, for two years now. I started when my son was three. I am very excited about these writing ones, so that he can use those for extra practice! Also, if any of your readers are interested, I have compiled a list of “songs” that correspond to most of the verses. I’m working on the last few letters soon. They can find them at my youtube channel “heavensenthorse”, under “Bible memory-Raising Rock Stars preschool” playlist. #/playlist?list=PL5gXlzWaHy1-GPhjkpzSGzh37PK_Z2-tQ

  34. These worksheets are adorable! This is the perfect way to incorporate Scripture learning in a fun way for littles. I’ve been struggling to figure out how to study the Word with my girls without making them bored silly. I can’t wait to incorporate this into our school routine!
